Hoshen
This is a fused glass wall hanging I made based on the Hoshen or breastplate worn by Hebrew high priests. It was traditionally made of gold and set with 12 different precious stones, each stone representing the name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. I used coloured pieces of dichroic glass to represent the stones and wrote and fired the Hebrew name on to each one.
